    Cool morning - great bite - sun came and the bite went away...

    Broke in another 7'6" Mebaru rod ( Pro Marine - Trick Hunter) they came in the mail yesterday.

    thnx Tim - little heavy in the butt (lower end components) and could use a bigger stripper guide, not bad for a $100 (with shipping). Casts well - fast action, great back bone, and very sensitive tip. Not as light as the Daiwa rod I that recently got. The Trick Hunter 76L is a lite action rod rated for 1.5~6lb, 98% Carbon. Weighs 4.2ozs., something you don't want to be casting all day.
