Default Testing out new super ultra light rod.

Spent a few hours at a lake testing out the Fine Tail Banshee Area Trout 6’ Super Ultra Light rod today. All fish caught on a Bison colored Trout Magnet. Had a lot of fun. While no huge fish they were big enough to give me a great fight on this rod. Copper nose do not do well in TN. Even in waters where they are on feed......they are not fed in this lake.....they can’t match the copper nose in Lake Perris. Nevertheless it was a fun day. Hope you enjoy the video.

    Regards

Nice video, nice gills too! Lot better than I’ve been able to locate lately . I’m thinking I’m going to have to get the boat out to find any nice ones around here . Gillchaser

Thanks for watching. They are hard to come by now. Our water got hot too quick. But like everyone else I’ll keep trying but next time out....when the storms get out of here....going to have to go deep in the bigger lakes.

    Regards

Great video. That ShellCracker sure was pretty. Hopefully the full moon next week will bring another round of shallow gill action. Our water temperatures are pushing 90 here in East Tennessee but I have caught them before on the beds on a late June Moon. Will just have to go and find out. The rod looked to handle the fish well, you seemed to be pleased.

Another great video, thanks Randy. Hope you have the camera running when you hook into one of those 2 pounders with that rod!
