    Default Dangerous day @ LP o5 28 18

I knew better - too many knuckleheads on the pond today. It's going to be a long dangerous summer. Had 3 ski boats zip by close and the noise from jet skis.... Can't handle their wakes.
Anyway the fish are still here and got some photos - in between the rocking & rolling. It wasn't safe taking pictures. Got beat up (physically & mentally) and had to leave early. And to top it off - I lost 5 jigs!

Opened with a an 11" double

Followed up with a pair of 10s

Still fishing the deeper water and there are a lot of smaller fish showing up now. The structure, even in the deeper water, is horrendous and these fish know it.

Good fish Sonny. I went this morning myself, but stayed to a secluded spot with zero boat traffic. Check out my post on the FL board. Glad you got some and enjoyed yourself anyway.

Poured down the rain here today, lots of disappointed lake lice I am sure. Glad you got them in sunny Southern Cal!

Good fish. It was nuts here at our local lake. It's only 35 acres or so, and I bet there were 20 boats on it. Luckily it's no wake. Ended to putting the boat away. Couldn't seem to catch anything out of it. Hit the bank fishing and had a limit in 30 min. Love your posts. Keep em coming. Sucks when the "Lake Lice" come out to play.

    More awesome fish, congrats!

We got fortunate. That TS coming in from the gulf kept the weekend warriors at bay today here. We left to go fishing around 1:30, fished until 7:30 and only saw 3 more boats. That is unheard of on Lake Guntersville any time of the year. We only got moderately damp when a rain band from the TS came through and the clouds and drizzle kept the temps very comfortable.

Nice fish....but I don’t know of a lake in TN that I would have put a boat on today. Just getting to be far too many folks on the water on holidays now.

    Regards
