Got My New Rod Today

About a week or so ago I won a new Rod from Alphahawk by commenting on his You Tube Channel (already a Subscriber). It is an informative channel where one can glean a wealth of knowledge on UL fishing, JDM and domestic gear, and see some nice fish caught as well. The rod came today safe and sound, well packaged and protected.

Weighing in at about 62 grams, 7.4ft long, tubular top and titanium frames with great lightweight guide inserts. Thanks Randy, I think I will really enjoy this fine weapon to battle the inhabitants of my local waters. Ok just kidding around guys, I ordered the Corto a couple weeks ago from Japan off of Global Rakuten. Here is a picture of the actual rod that Randy sent, and I also received it today. Was like Christmas in March for sure.
I like the feel of his rod and cannot wait to give it a shot. Fast tip, light blank and cool looking eyes. Fish will be caught with this rod, I guarantee that. Thanks Randy, and watch his Channel, you will like it!!

That would make for a sweet trout jigging rod. My Corto Prototype should arrive tomorrow or Friday. Kinda pumped!
