    Default Dills .....Pickles.....and greens

banking locally has been tough and even in the john boat I aint on them well since all this turbulent weather rolled thru .
the daffodils are blooming though and that's a sign they are up and running . but as of now I am on pickles and greens .....
snakes up in brush and warm weather is here and I know its close to being donkey kong good for crappie and I will try when I have time (which seems to be very limited lately ) to find some of my target species instead of whats been getting on my jigs
that all said I know the gills will be close in with the crappie in the next week or so I think maybe .....
until then hope you enjoy a few photos and have a great day

At least the rod is bending, and that's a good thing. Trip with the Granddaughter Saturday and I'm looking forward to that in a big way. Keep trying, they'll be there soon.

On a different note, I went to wally the other day and looked through the rods. Haven't seen anything of interest for a while. As I looked around I saw this skinny little tip of a rod poking out from behind the display. Followed it down and saw some dark red striping on the rod and began to get excited. A little further down, and I hadn't reached for it yet, I saw a bare bones reel seat and handle. Now I was starting to reach and dig through the other rods in front and on top of it. Low and behold, a 5'6" Vigilante to go with the 6920 I had at the house. Haven't seen one for months, and never see one any other size than this in our stores. Happy to have it and the pairing is great with 2lb Nanofil. I'm sure it will get some use Saturday, I'll keep you posted. I know it's one you like.

Sad to say I broke my short vigilante ....really liked it ...still bothers me 6 months later ....such is life I suppose , the red on the rod in the dark is a a lightening bolt on my shorter Tica ...
