Good for him, I was wondering how he's been doing. Sooner he get's back out the better. I'm sure he hasn't forgotten how and will stick a pig the first day.
thnx Jim. Next couple of years are going to be interesting. Big Jim had his hip surgery so he is anxious to get back into the hunt....

Your little fish are giants in these parts! I love seeing your post and pics. That is a wonderful fishery you have out there.
Thnx mcc - appreciate the comments. We are extremely fortunate with our growth rate, genetics, & health
of our panfish population. Think we'll be coming up with a Frankinfish soon!!! Can you imagine a CNBG/RE/GS????
Another big bonus - for me;
Finally talked with my buddy Keith last night - trying to get a trip going - somewhere. We haven't fished together for too
long. He had soccer and grandson duties (busy family year) - I got real sick twice, new puppy, and had hand surgery.
Lot's of excuses.
He got to fish San Vicente a couple of times in the spring. As to be expected - there are monster fish in it. He said he caught a lot of
2lb+ BG & REs. Biggest he got was 3.5lb on each! I am chomping at the bit.........
Keith does not tell tale tales and he knows what a 3lb fish looks like.
