    I have been getting into a good amount of 8" gills and figured I would share some pics.

    Here's what they were caught on, the bottom one was on a 1" orange curl tail. those are all 1/64oz size 10 hooks, top is a nymph style jig and the other two are just thread neck calf tails.

    Them sure are pretty fish,the orange jig looks like a crawdad .

    The fish love it, I think it imitates a lot of aquatic insects and inverts that they can't help but eat it.

    New York Style!? I caught some gils on curly tails while crappie fishing in a pond. Caught more gils than Specks. Never did that before.
