    Caught a huge shell cracker crappie fishing Saturday down here in NC and she was about to bust with eggs. Looked like she was ready to lay. Caught her in 2 foot of water casting a jig. Water temp is just over 60 here.

    With a winter, with no cold hardly here in the southeast, seems like everything is really not at the norm as far as spawning.
