    Default Favorite artificial gill bait!

My favorite artificial bait for gills has to be Berkley Honey Worms,I fish them under a bobber or just line and hook. They hold up to several hits and catches, they are killers when rigged on a jig suitable for a gills small mouth.

I catch a few fish with honey worms, but I catch lots of fish with the Trout Magnet - Bison color.

1/32 or 1/24 jig in black and chartreuse. I like the old school marabou type. I have a pile of Hal-Fly dina mites and they love them.

Favorite ? Hmmmmm.... Depends on time of year and conditions , but if I had to pick one , when conditions are right ...........
I love catching them on a F-3 Rapala , especially when they hit it on top , after the twitch, before I can begin my slow swim back to the boat . Gillchaser

Gulp fry on a drop shot when they go deep. With the others on a black fly but I like to tie in a touch of red with it.
