    Default Gulp Waxies

I've read on this forum that Gulp Waxies are great for bluegills.

    Gulp Alive?

    Best color?

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I've used the chartreuse ones, they work pretty good. The problem is the jar leaks if its tipped over, don't leave them on the hooks because when they dry up they are very hard to get off the hook. personally I like the crappie bites better in the same color, they work really good and a lot less hassle too fish with.

I use the white . made a cardboard/duct tape box-jar holder that holds 3 jars so the jars will not tip over. One waxes , one 1" emerald shiner minnow , one mixed with leech and crickets. Can put on what the gills seem to want that day.
I thought fish trembled when they heard my name.......then I heard the laughter

I use both colors each work well. Many folks around here fish stocked trout with Berkley power bait,I find several empty jars when I fish.I take them home, clean them, and transfer any liquid covered baits to these jars because the don't leak.

Gonna try a new to me bait this year. HT has a new bait for gills called ice scentz. Like maggots. Check them out at Icefish. Very realistic looking and has a strong scent to them. Haven't had a chance to use them yet.

They look great,I'm thinking they are the same thing as honey worms,if not they are mighty close.
