    Default Gulp crickets ?

Found them on clearance floating in a package of bug juice I guess ? Pretty nasty looking juice they are suspended in .....25 cents a pack ....did I waste a dollar on 4 packs is the question or might they be deadly ?

who knows Ketchn, think it was worth the buck. you never know when something like that will work and at such a low cost? I would do it, you know it will always work on gills.

Could always cut em into small pieces and tip a jig with em. Cant imagine the product being any different than the stuff in the Gulp Maggots and asticots or minnow heads that fish love so much. And stay on hooks far better than nibbles.

I found the crickets to work here in Michigan, but only at the time of year the real crickets appear. Like a three to four week window, then I go back to Gulp minnows.
I thought fish trembled when they heard my name.......then I heard the laughter

I tried them and they just didn't work when compared to worms/crickets.

I've had limited success with them. In terms of Gulp products, I kill it using the waxies. I've had those outfish live crickets and worms.

I kinda think it's hard to beat real worms myself .....but they might be good for the less educated fish for sure ....public water fish tend to be finicky compared to the ole private pond versions

Mileage may vary of course, but just as an example I caught this mess of gills of one of the most heavily fished local waters. They hit both crickets and the gulp waxies, but all but one of these big ones came off the waxies. For size comparison, my foot is a 15 wide. Best bait can depend on the day.
