Cold front fishin'
With the cold front rolling in, me and a few buddies thought it would be a great day to launch our yaks and fish some. they decided to bass fish, and I decided to catch tomorrow's lunch. I caught 8 in total, 2 being released, and the big one an 8 incher , my biggest this year. My usual places didn't produce today, the hot spot for me was in a canal on some concrete.
It was a pretty good day on the water, didn't get too cold until sundown, but I won't be kayaking again until it warms up some, or I get a pair of waders, because after a while, my toes were numb.
Prettiest fish of the day was this little warmouth, who was released to grow bigger
