On my home lake

Got out on my home like Friday and caught some gills. I found them 5 to 8 fow in the thickest grass I could find. This is not where I normally catch them but maybe the cooler water temps have them a little shallower. I caught them on gulp red wriggles under a float and a small jig with a watermelon grub fished slowly on top of the grass. I also caught a few tiny bass, one of them is pictured. They are small but they think they are fierce. They look a miniature giant bass. It's good to be home for a week.
