Default Gills and a blue bird day

Man the sun was shining and the wind was a little cool but what a great day to get on the water. Love the feel of using my 10 foot jig pole and watching the cork descend into the depths of the river. What a awesome day it was. Got to visit with some fisherman I see regularly on the water and share some stories.

Gonna get the grease hot on super bowl Sunday now.

    I don't measure anything.
If they have thick shoulders and are hand size they go in the box. They are about as big as I have ever caught in my 20 years fishing the river here. Probably biggest be 9-10 inches if I had to guess.

That's some big Gills. I am just always curious about the length of Gills.....you can tell from the pic good size. Good colors too. This time of year around here they lose all their color in winter and are very opaque.
