Default Questions for Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina Gill fisherman.

I am assume we have bluegill fisherman from those state on the forum here. With the discussion about bluegill limits and such I got to thinking "Where are the posts showing copper nose bluegill from those states?" I may have missed them but the only posts I see with copper nose are from ledhed out on Lake Perris. I know that copper nose occur naturally in those states. We have one lake here in TN that they somehow got in. They are doing OK in that lake but have only been around about 5 years. For those that catch copper nose out of the 3 states mentioned are they large fish....do many of them hit the 10 inch mark? Just curious about the copper nose in those states.

Watch the Florida board come about mid April till October. You will see plenty of big copperheads and shellcrackers. Most dont post reports on main forum pages.

Never seen any in South Carolina. I think native to Georgia and Florida only.

Realize didn't include North Carolina but we catch pretty good numbers of copper nose in the NC coastal river systems. Haven't heard of any being caught in any of our lakes.
