Those are some great looking fish. Congrats on your catch. I'm hoping those in our Laurel Hill Lake will get to that size.

    Regards

Those BG are amazing! What is your theory on how the BG and RE grow so big on the lakes you fish? Do you ever keep any for dinner? If so, you should dig out the otoliths (ear bones) and send them to me. I could show you how. It would be awesome to analyze the growth rate of fish that caliber. I would even be willing to pay the shipping cost. Let me know if you are interested. Unbelievable fish!

Or maybe your local fish biologist already has this data?

Amazing fish. Just about every one you take a picture of would rival my annual bests, and we have some
big bluegills in Mississippi. Must be great sport with the light tackle!
