A few from today.
Bison colored Trout Magnet.....Daiwa Certate 2004CH spinning reel spooled with 2# test SOS line........Tict Rockin' Drift Ice Cube 6' 9" UL Mebaru Rod = 36 Gills in the heat of the day. Only spent 2 hours out today. For whatever the reason these fish are in 2 feet of water...water temps are 91 degrees on surface. Why they are not in cooler water out deep I have no clue. From reading about copper nose they breed much more often than northern strain bluegill....so they may be up spawning again....water is not clear enough for me too see any beds from the bank. I am not aware of any other lakes in TN that have copper nose...I am talking public lakes....other than Laurel Hill...a TWRA Lake. We are fortunate to have them and no one is quite sure how they got in the lake as TWRA says they dd not stock them. A great time but I have to say the heat drove me off the lake today. It was officially 97 at my location today. All fish caught using twitch method. Life is very good!

Love those copper nose gills. I wish we had them in the lakes over here in my neck of the woods.
