Default Starting the week off right.

It is Monday...the start of the work week for most....for me it is the first day of the week to start fishing. I didn't get out until after one o'clock.....it was 95 out. I sat on my bucket for about 4 hours and managed over 4 dozen good fish. All in all a great start to what is going to be a hot week. May have to try Pickwick for some white bass. All fish caught on a Bison colored Trout Magnet using SOS 2# test line. I used my Tict Ice Cube UL rod twitching......and would switch over and catch a few fish on the Yamaga Blanks Blue Current Jig Head Special 6' 10" UL. Both rods a lot of fun but two different actions. I was the only one out fishing the lake today...maybe I should say I was the only nut out on the lake...LOL. My boat is a little more than a month out and I have to tell you walking the banks is getting old real quick in this heat.....but all in all.....Life is good!

    Regards

Nice looking fish... I checked out that tict rod and it was a bit much for me right now... Have you seen the Jackson's Ajing Rod Jam Over? I really like the look of those rods... Seems like they are in the same $ range as the tict ice cube... Do you have any cheaper priced jdm rods that you feel are a good value?

Look at the Major Craft line of rods. Many consider them to be the best bang for the buck in JDM rods.

Them BGs got some big ears..

Major Craft rods are awesome!!!! Earthworm did a recent post about a SUL Trapara rod. Don't understand why they aren't offered in the US. I really enjoy the UL saltwater rods coming out of Japan (most are assembled in China now).
