Outstanding day at Lake Perris

Got to fish with some old friends, their son & GF. Got my iPilot issue resolved and got to do some REEL fishin. First time fishing for Tori and I think she likes it!! We had a lot of doubles on some solid 9" and 10" Bluegill. We kept a limit of deep water BGs. We were all using 2lb test and Auto jigs tipped with a cricket.

hs - gets in the 60s jackets come out. But when the overcasts burns off, it gets HOT - real hot. We got lucky with ~3 hours of cool weather before it started heating up.

Super nice...I enjoy your posts and pics. My Illinois gills don't quite compare but I too love chasing em in deeper water. It's good to see some youngsters involved and learning to love these gills. What part of the state is Lake Perris in? Looks like you have some elevation there?
