Bitsy Minnow in chartreuse and black is my go to lure I love to fish them and usually outfish folks using live bait

We normally outfish live bait for crappies and sunnies with plastics, too. I am going to have to dig out what little plugs I have and see if they work for me, too.

Stores in my area don't carry the Bitsy Minnow. Best price I found on the net was 3.99 with free shipping on orders over 30.00. Don't want to break any rules so won't mention where but made sure I bought enough to get free shipping. Got 2 of the white with red dot. Will see how they work for me in my area. Pop

I like them if and when I can convince myself to not tie on a roostertail. I also like the Rebel tiny Wee crankbait in crawdad. I also change the rear treble to a single hook and then bend the rear hook eye with my forceps so the now rear single hook rides upward. A Bluegill with all three trebles in its mouth just about sews its mouth shut, hard to get the hooks out sometimes. Kit

This is the only way I'd fish a crankbait for gills.

Just bought one of those Rebel crawdads today. Along with 3 more Bitsys and beetle spins.

Also bought some rooster tails, never used one before so I figured I'd try it.

I love them! Got one of every color they offer.

I am a fan of road runners too. They out fish my beetle spins, but are more $. And easy to lose in brush.
