Default Return assult on high lake at Buffalo Pature area.

I was able to slip off for a partial afternoon at a walk in lake I enjoy. The gills are not as large as some places I go but they put up a good fight on the UL tackle I use . I didn't get on the water till 2:30 PM after a 3/4 mile pull across a pasture. I brought 2 rods but no battery for the sonar so I just fished instead of watching the screen. lol I only used 3 jigs all afternoon. One was Crappie Pro I tied on and a 1/80 kip tail. Late in the afternoon I switched the kip tail for a 1/80 Klondike Gold red butt jig that speeded up the bite ratio quite a lot. I have a little click counter I sometimes keep count with and when I got off the water at 7:00 PM it read 64 .I took 10 home with me. I had no intention of staying so late but was just plain having a good time and lost tack of the time. I tipped with wax worms.
