    Default 06/12/2014 Sunfish & 1 Gar - Austin TX

Went out and took my kayak to the lower Colorado River in Austin Texas to do some fishing for Bass the bite was slow changed up to panfish for Bluegills Red Ear and possibly Crappie no luck on the Crappie lots of action!!!

Oh any I hooked into a Alligator Gar 3rd one of the year for me small but still counts.

    All fish where released back

I think That second picture is a gill-cracker (bluegill shell cracker hybrid.) It is common here in the mid west where bluegills and red ear are present. Nice looking water you are fishing.
