Default Day of the Bluegill 4/23/13 (Pics Included)

I continued on my mission for an 11" bluegill today....ended up with 11 bass & 13 gills...biggest gill was 10 1/4"...one of my biggest yet....the Rebel Crickpopper is a wicked little lure...I also had a monster carp rise up like a freakin' submarine and try to take that popper....he missed it...that would've been interesting...these big gills are a blast on a light action combo....the carp would've been another story....good fishin fellas....

Some really nice bluegills & it looks like a couple of shellcracker (not sure) Would love to see a picture of Rebel Crickhopper and describe how you were fishing it. What was the water temp? You may be farther south than some of us and are getting into some bluegill action a little earlier.
