    Default Bream on beds?

I fish in central Alabama. The rule of thumb for bream bedding here is the full moon in May. This year the full moon in May is May 25. The next full moon will be April 25.
Last Saturday the water temperature was in the low 60's. Do you think the bream will bed on the full moon of April or wait until the full moon in May, or somewhere in between?

I would say full moon in April. I am way up here in Virginia and we caught them Saturday up to 2 lbs and all were starting to put on roe. And we found them in clear water when we found mud clouds in the water. I'm guessing they were fanning for beds.

Water temps could make a difference but I believe some of the biggest bluegill will come in first. Quality may make up for quanity when they first go on bed.
