Default caught a few bluegill today

I fished one of the ponds I guide on today. No giants, but we caught fifteen or twenty that were over 9", and three that were 10" or a little over. The two best weighed a pound each.

Some nice fish there, some of 'em look too fat to swim much.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

These fish were definitely not eaten - all released. I don't keep bluegill over 9" unless they're in poor body condition.

They looked so fat, their eyes were bugged out. A really healthy bluegill looks almost round like some of these did. Thanks for the pics.
