    Cool panfish flies that work?...

Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone here has any luck fishing panfish with fly fishing lures? I myself am new to that theory but I seen on the net that it's possible. So how would be the best way to do it though? go out and buy a fly rod & reel, or can you just put it on your line like you would live bait? like, remove your live bait hook and replace it with a fly lure?

Sure, it's possible, and a lot of us catch 'em on flies. Bream are bug-eaters, just like trout. Buy a simple fly rod combo and a few flies (poppers or sponge spiders on top and small bead head nymphs or woolly buggers for sub-surface.) That's really all you need to get started.

    YJ:
what size are those, and for a fly rod I assume?
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
