Heck, it did more than pay off; it saved the day! My fishing partner had never seen electronics in action like that before. Now he really wants to take one ice fishing so he can jig-fish a lot more while he's waiting for tip-ups. To say he was impressed would be an understatement.
I have to admit, I thought it was pretty cool as well since we could see them moving up and down in the water column and adjust our depth accordingly. Ken

Good gills and thanks for the post. I'll remember to take my bluegill stuff with me the next time I get out for crappie. Looks like those gills are fattening up early this year for winter.

What he talking about is that I clean and give away the fish I catch to elderly people on a fixed Social Security income that aren't able to fish and can use the food.

Looks full enough to me for some great eating. Nice report. Get the hot sauce ready. Fishermen do not exagerate. They just tell you what they think you want to know. LOL

I'll have to remember that trick; I'll have a cooler full every time! Of course, "honest fisherman" is a nonsense term.....

You know, i haven't caught or seen anyone catch a single bluegill since this cooler weather moved in about a month ago. Lots of bass and crappie, some sunfish, but the gills have been absent here in E. Nebraska.

That's just the waterside storage shed. Kinda hard to see the house through the trees but from what I can see...wow!
