Default A Nice Mess of Pond Bream

This past weekend I had the rare opportunity to take my kid sister fishing. She finally got to break in a fishing rod I got her for her birthday, and it couldn't have been a better day to go.We probably caught 40 bluegill, bass and shellcrackers, and ended up keeping 15 or so for dinner. We cast to the bank with good, old-fashioned red worms under corks. I had left most of my fishing gear back in my home town, so I ended up winching those bream in with a heavy bass rod. Not ideal, but they put up enough of a fight to still really enjoy it!Forgot my stringer!Name: IMG_20120331_144922.jpg
