Now how neat is that? Great fish taken from public waters. Tip of my hat to you and your abilities. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Froggie .... that's a sureanuff goodun you got there !!

Reminds me of a Bluegill that my Great Uncle David caught out of a neighbors small lake. I was just a youngster, but I knew what size was "normal" for certain species of fish. After my Great Grandma cooked it & put it on a regular size dinner plate, Uncle David didn't have any room to put anything else on that plate Rofl .... that thing stuck out over both sides of that plate

I can't even begin to imagine how much that fish weighed, or even if it was a State Record or anything ... but, I do know that my Great Uncle David ate the whole thing, all by himself, and that was all he cared about back in those days

While your fish may have made a good looking mount, you can't eat it if you have it mounted ... but, hey ... you know where that one came from, so you still have a chance at catching one of its family members or schoolmates, and they might even be bigger Thumbs Up
