    Default 4th of July Weekend at Village Creek and Cathey's Lake


    Had a great weekend at Village Creek State Park in Wynne, AR over the 4th of July weekend. Caught everything except the Crappie and smaller Brims, there. Those were caught at Cathey's Lake. Cathey's Lake is really low caught it trying to get the boat back on the trailer. It was hot as heck but had a lotta fun!

    Great catch. I've driven close by there many times on my way to the Little Red River. Often wondered if it would be worth making the drive and renting a jon boat for a try. I guess it would be.
