I do not usually catch gills on twister tail grubs, but I do make a good 2 inch grub for crappie fishing. It is a southern pro style 2 inch grub and it is a good crappie fishing grub. I use to have a 1 inch but did not have much success with it so I sold the mold. My favorite for gills is plain old redworms, crickets or a keystone minnow. The only down side is the keystone is so good and popular now that they have went up to almost a dollar and a half for one bait.
