Just remember, the fish that you see can see you too!... you may want to try a more stealthy approach.
a couple day ago i went to lake anna when i found out i could not go elsewhere. since we were short on gas, i had to buy gas with my minnow money when we got there, i could see masses of sunfish! after getting settled, i could see that there were alot of weeds, mostly long,straggly weeds, floating in the shallows. the only thing i saw that looked like a minnow was my mimic minnow fry jig. after tying it on i threw it in and worked it back in. then i noticed that some tiny fish were nibbling it like crazy. so i switched tactics and got some ones worth frying mouthing it. after the switch, i caught a 7" bluegill. after stringing the fish, i kept fishing. i got distracted i bit by a sound and when i turned back around, a small LMB was mouthing my bait! a hook set later, i landed the bass, which was 10 in. then released it. caught 2 more that day and was happy with the lake
fish seen:
* a 10 lb carp
* a nice 6 lb bass.
*many sunfish
*three small bass (8-11 in)

places where the fish are fed bread might be hard to catch fish.there's a lake like that close by me,people feed the fish bread all the time,and the fishing sux there.if you put bread on the hook you'll get them left n right :rolleyes: mostly tiny bluegills,but i know there are bigger more decent size ones in there.
Is this Lake Anna in Barberton?
I fish there all the time with my 5yo daughter. She kills the gills!
Hmmm. Small world. Lake Anna, the Tusc River, and the canal in Coventry County...
