    Has anyone been catching any in the Big Sandy river area?

    Yes, I have heard several people say they are catching bluegill, shell crackers, and redear in that area. They have been catching a lot of them over on Barkely Lake also.
    I live 10 miles from the 160,000 acre Kentucky Lake, and the 57,000 acre Barkley Lake is within 25 miles of my house. I live 10 miles from 220,000 acres of Water.

    Shell crackers and redear are the same fish. They are still catching them on the lakes but they are scattered in with the gills. Not killing them by no means
