here is a link to the Sliders....they are great baits for gills and crappie....this one is 1" but you can do like was said previously and cut them in half or so to trim them down if you already have some of the longer ones.......slower the fall the better
    Thanks!

They look a lot like a Culprit Paddletail but they have a round tail piece. Culprit's tail piece is easier for a sunfish to get in its mouth. We catch tons of sunfish on the Culprit product.

Hook size has a lot to do with whether you'll consistently hook up sunfish regardless of what product you use.

We've been using the 1" slider body on 1/32oz jigheads with good results.
Monks is the only place I've seen the 1 inchers.
I use a dab of super glue to make the body last longer.
The paddle tails seem to get bitten off quite often though.
At any rate, they're definately some fish catchers.
Do gooder since April 26, 2009!

Iam missing something fella's what about the CHARLIE BEE!!
It's a Hammer time tool that i use all the time Charlie!
And try the catapillar color its been my goto for years!
My research for what its worth the june bug color is # one on certain lakes @ certain times!!
The spinner adds a whole lot and but seems to trigger the fish!
A pair of split ring pliers and a few blades to add on have helped in a big way!
Iff i could only find a few more TNT weedless jig heads in the smallest size!

A couple of weeks ago I tied on a 1/32 or 1/48 oz head (not sure) with a black/char Slider and started SMOKIN' them! It was cloudy and raining on and off all day. The were very aggressive but not on beds. I caught them in 3' to 14' of water at all depths. They would hit on the fall or on the slow roll retrieve. The bigger ones would hit on the fall.

This past weekend a cold front came through MS and the bite was light and relatively slow. We change the retrieve to a bump, bump fall and they went nuts again. They can't seem to resist the little paddle tail. It quivers on the fall. I have tried twister tails and roadrunners with little success.

The funny thing is I have had the Sliders for a couple of years and never really used them. That will change
i use them on crappie and put the thump on them
fishing from the couch in front of the tv doesnt count
