Just got home from Rock Creek, cleaned 19,4 were given to me at the ramp. All of them were nice crappie,5 had eggs.It was very slow I fished from 8to8.Caught a few on the bank.Sorry no pics can't find the camera.I talked to alot of guy's who said they were on the banks Sunday but it's been slow since then according to them.Even though it was slow it was still a good day.Good luck everyone.

Sorry to hear they slowed down, I am putting in at Crowder, in about 45 minutes or so, at daylight, and planned on fishing Rock Creek today...praying the middle of the week will not be crowded...LOL

I may have to move even further south today to find em....

Good luck and please give a report. I would like to head back that way Saturday but am thinking Oologah might be hot by then. If so, I get to find the fish away from the spawn crowds.

We put in at Bugtussle yesterday morning and headed to Coale Creek but it had a lot of mud coming in. Couldn't get a bit in the creek so we went looking for some cleaner water. Managed to clean 47.
    Hey, tell me a story!

    Default Bad Luck

I live in Broken Arrow and took off work 3 days to go down to the big E. I got down to Crowder by myself about 11am and put the boat in the water. I motored over to a spot by Rock Creek and put the trolling motor down. The motor wouldn't work. Long story short, I checked everything i could think of and finally it bothered me so much i put the boat back on the trailer and went to Eufaula to the marina. Bent the skag last time I was out and fried the brushes and wires inside the head. Weird thing is it didn't even bend the shaft. Have to order a new head. Then, we noticed some oil leaking from lower unit on the big motor. Had to take the boat in to have warranty repair work done. I didn't even wet a line and not sure if I'll get the problems fixed before the weekend.

If anybody needs a fishing partner tomorrow or Friday, i'd go. I'm kind of just learning so any help I can get would be good.

I had to wait in line this am...to launch my boat....but that is to be expected,,,,now that we are "the best crappie fishing in the usa"....thanks
to someone...that won a single crappie tourny,,,,and can write articles....

fished rock creek....first flip...had a big female....then just small males...
left at 8am...due to crowd...ran down to coal creek....it was muddy...
but caught a few in the old rock quarry, just northwest of the bridge...
went up the creek as far as 113....no good...

back to Crowder,,,,had lunch at the Diamond....best food in Crowder,,,,by far.

Back to Krebs...put in at Hickory, went to Buffalo Creek, caught 19 good ones.....saw water temp of 74 today....

hope everyone else faired better....and burned less gas...LOL
