    Default Hey OKSTATEjiggy

I'm an old alum, grew up in Stilly. My grandad helped build Blackwell with mules. A couple of questions. How did finals go? Is the spawn still going on out there or is it winding down? I'm only 70 mi. away and want to get up there more what with the lakes around Tulsa still jacked up.

Finals went decent. Six final exams really wear a fella out. You know, I actually haven't been out there in about a week so I don't know. I would bet that it's pretty good right now. I just started my job and won't get paid for a month, so I haven't been able to gas up my truck and go fishing. But I would bet that the crappie are getting after it.

This sure brings back memories. I remember my first full paycheck after graduating and going to work. 4 and 1/2 long years of suffering, doing without, eating lotsa ramen noodles, and going without sleep for 2-3 days during clinicals.

Then that paycheck and I thought I was rich! Looking back, it really wasn't too much, but when you go so long with so little, a check that nice blew me away.

Hang in there young man, it will get better and better.

So Jiggy did you graduate or is this a summer job? My wife and I were married our last year of school and there were a lot of peanut butter sandwiches eaten that year. That was 20 yrs. ago and I am just now getting were I can stand to eat P.B. again. Stinkfinger is right it will get better. When those big checks do start rollin in take it easy and put some aside every month. Hope you can get out to the lake soon. Appreciate your reports.

I lost this thread! Got a kick out of reading it....let me know Jiggy about this w.e. if you want to join up, I've got money and I'd be happy to put the gas in the truck if you haul me, my brother, my cousin and our things out to CB this w.e. I think my cousin has a truck so we may just let you hop in with us, not sure yet? Thanks. MM. (pm me if you want to, i'll give you my cell#)

Speck, this is a Summer job. Minnow, I would but I'm going back to Lawton for Mom's Day. I'm pretty satisfied with how the semester went, I made a 3.0 for 18 hours, 12 of which were English classes with lots of reading.

I am an alumni from 2002 and just wanted to say nice job on the 3.0 jiggy. Oh yes I also wanted to say you don't have to save all the money when you graduate. You can do like me and buy you a new boat and truck. Well new to me anyway.

Grand Kid: haha, yeah I'm sure a boat will be one of the first purchases after college.
