    Default Lake Hefner

    Hello All,

    Anybody fish Hefner for crappie?

I havent fished much out there, have doodled some around the boat docks in the spriing. I'd like to talk to any hefner fisherman who might give a guy some pointers on crappie or even let me pay for gas in your boat in return for an afternoon of some fishing.

    Thanks, Okiefish

Hefner is the great mystery to me as well. You should be able to find crappie around the boat docks year round, but I haven't had the chance to test my theory. Good luck.

try the rocks on the east side by the restaraunts. Use a jig abou 12-18" under a cork and fish parallel and straight out from the bank.

On the east side you have a good chance on hooking into a Walleye if you fish the early morning or evening.

Any other info would be appreciated since I'm fishing in OKC myself.
