This lake has seem like the Dead Sea over the years so I thought I'd give it a shake today. After 2 hours of begging dinks to bite I made a drastic change to the other side of the lake. Marked some new structure and one of them I pulled a good 20 off of. Crappie were very aggressive on this side of the lake. Nothing to write home about as far as size goes but ended the 4 hour trip with I’d 40 or so and probably 25 were 10” or so eaters. One could get a limit if they spent a day at it. Only got pics of the two that stood out to me. Biggest was just shy of 13.5” and all my years fishing tbird I’ve never caught a black crappie from here. I’ve heard of some say they’ve caught them but I hear all types of wild fishing stories and never seen anyone post a pic. All fish were marked safe and allowed to swim to see another day. Blue/chartreuse and white/chartreuse plastic were used on a dipping rod or cast and dragging them.
