It's good to hear from that part of the state. I've fished Lawtonka some but it's been awhile and I was mainly oriented toward smallmouth. We used to get frequent reports from Ft Cobb. I'm originally from LeFlore county and the wife is from Cherokee county so we tend to go east when we leave the city. There are several good lakes in the western half of the state and we need to hear more from the folks that fish them. Been thinking I need to get back to Lawtonka and Longmire. Also would like to hear from Ft Cobb again and Canton. Post up when you can.

Longmire used to be a Great Lake.
Need to run over and check it out. Canton to I believe, if Memory serves me.

Ran into a fella recently at my local Enid Academy Sports, told me they’re starting to see the crappie come back at Canton. He made it sound like they really took a beating during the drought (can’t speak to it personally as I didn’t live here then).

Always wondered about Ft Supply lake. Drive thru there to deer and quail hunt but never have fished it. My pop says they used to slay em but no tellin how accurate that is.
