There are lots of the worlds best expensive slip corks out there. This is not something to over think. If you shop around on amazon you can get bobber stops 50 for $5.00, pretty much whatever style you prefer. As far as the slip cork goes




4 pack for $0.99 at Walmart. They will work and won’t break the bank. I realize there are lots of highly advertised more expensive floats out there that may be better in someone else’s opinion but these get the job done and if you snag up and lose one you’ve only lost 2 bits. A quarter for you younger folk out there.

I've got weighted floats in that brand so they are plenty good for me! How do bobber stops work?

You put the bobber stop on the line, then a small bead, then the slip cork, then the jig. I just checked and there are several good YouTube videos that show how to rig all 4 different types of bobber stops.

For those that don’t experience chronic arthritis pain and wondered what causes it I have taken a few pics to illustrate how it is at least with me by using a simple barameter water globe.



If the globe looks like this it is a good day. I can do anything I want. Yes I know the iPhone rotates the pic so the small piece goes up in real life.

This means I’m struggling but still can function thru the pain.

This means I can still function but am no longer able to conceal the pain from those around me and the joints pop loud enough to be heard by those within 10’ or so around me.
