I just bought 2 93sv's with chirp and transducers for $599.99ea and picd up the ps21 panoptix for $665.99.
Garmin has several new panoptic transducers available. The standard live view is around 799.00. The echomap 73CV and the 93SV with chirp are both panoptics compatible. They have to be the chirp models. The 73 cv echomap with chirp is 599.00 so you can have a unit with panoptics for around 1,300.00. They also have 2 new panoptics transducers with 1 that has a narrow 20 deg cone for clearer images and the other shows bottom structure in basically 3D with live view. This will be a game changer. You can connect your panoptics transducer and your standard transducer on your unit together and split screen panoptics and chirp clear view, side view or sonar. The frequencies are far enough apart you won't get interference from them even at 6 inches apart. If you use a transducer pole like I do in the front of the boat, you can mount the panoptics transducer on the same pole directly above you standard transducer and not have to worry about interference. Hope this clears up some questions on panoptics and good fishing.

Warhawk this is the tranducer pole I use. Actually got the info from Iken on here. It is made by fishing specialties. It is great if you run any of the trolling motors with spot lock such as the motorguide XI5 or Minn Kota that has the head that spins 360 deg. I mounted it on the opposite side from the trolling motor. Also takes care of trolling motor interference if you have that issue. They make the transducer plate for all the locators not just Garmin. Just have to tell them which transducer you are running. Pole is adjustable in height also The panoptics transducer mounts right above the main transducer with a clamp on the pole.
