Good to see the keystone forum pick up. I know we sent a ton of quality fish down the river from Kaw the last few years with all the flooding. Should just get better. I'm gonna make a few trips down there myself.
Well a couple days late but I was up on Keystone on New Years day. Picked up a few fish in about 9 FOW fishing was slow I think I tried every color I had. But I was able to put out some more structure.

Yes, it is nice. I enjoy seeing the pics and hearing the report. We have been catching some really good fish. We went to the slip today they shut off about the time we got there. But still picked up a few.

I don’t normally fish Keystone, does it have a good black Crappie population?

Unless you are a veteran crappie fisherman, you can't appreciate enough how he caught those crappie in the conditions he caught them in. Keystone was almost 7 ft high yesterday, muddy, cold, raining and dropping. I don't now if there's any tougher conditions to catch crappie in much less over 3 lbs. The young man has a lot of talent and is good for crappie fishing. He will be a big influence on the next generation of young crappie fishermen. Hope Josh continues with his success.

It's a fact all of the highly successful people in their fields for example... Nascar drivers, Football/Baseball players, even Pro fisherman are very polarizing; spectators and fans either love'em or hate'em but none the less the cream seams to always rise to the top.... As Dizzy Dean once said “It ain't braggin' if you can back it up.”
