Kaw Lake Report 2018

They are catching a few from the bank early and late. We are catching a lot of fish right now pushing long poles and running slip corks. Caught a limit yesterday up to 2 lbs 7 oz. I still have a couple openings next week if anyone may be interested in learning how to spider rig or crappie fishing in general just send me a pm.

Not everyday you can catch big black and white crappie out of Kaw in the same spot. Had another good day caught some big fish.

Took the wife and daughter out yesterday evening and had a great time. Don't get them in the boat with me very often. Looked like a holiday weekend boats everywhere.

First time for fishing Kaw. Got up there late and smacked 'em pretty good from the bank. Most people were using minnows, but my friend and I got 'em on jigs, just as it was getting dark. Gonna have to make another trip north from OKC.
