I've caught 4-6 Blacks total at Kaw. All but one was small. Did catch one around 1.25 lbs. two years ago at the Kaw Tournament. It was the last fish Darrell and I culled.

My cousins fished yesterday and done well. All these fish are 2 plus lbs but 1. They don't quite have the hold down yet but they are still young (70's) so maybe they will get it down before they are 80.

Nice fish TimY! I did awful today. Arkansas arm to get out of the 30 MPH South wind. It was muddy and upper 40's. Found a few fish, but only one decent (1.5 lb).

I thoughy they were up there too. I think the fish are staging mouth of the river waiting for warmer water. Fish trees along the channel at the mouth of river.they are there

I was hooked onto the boat yesterday Chris and after looking at the trees bend over all day decided to see what it would do today. Think it's worse today than yesterday. I can stand rain and cold but hate high winds. Really limits where you can fish.The next week or so looks just as bad so gonna have to change tactics some. Got a couple ideas I think we can do and put a few fish in the boat. Don't think I can remember the wind blowing like it has the last couple of years. You can live with 15 to 25 but when it's 30 plus it is no fun plus gets a little dangerous
