    Took Zach and his dad out today and had a lot of fun. Zach's dad managed to catch a true albino bluecat. Seeing more of them in Kaw. Always catch and release on the albino's.

    Some do Kirk. Think I took the wrong rods today. A lot of people assume crappie are deep in the hot summer months. Got these nice crappie in my shad net this morning in 4 fow. Didn't have a crappie pole in the boat. When you get them n a net, you can bet there is a bunch of them The biggest one was close to 1.5 lbs. There was lots of shad and crappie in shallow water. Water temp was 88 deg. Just goes to show they are where the food is no matter what time of the year. And yes they were released.

Looked up in the campground and saw some fellas making a square platform. They had several 55 gall plastic drums settin in camp and couldn’t figure out what they were doin. Came back to the ramp around 1:00 and they had her water worthy. Fastest boat I ever seen built LOL
