Well it sucks for me. I run a bird on back and a lowrance up front. When I'm scanning with the bird I don't want to have to drop my trolling motor every time and remark with the lowrance just like when I'm trolling and mark on my lowrance I don't want to have to fire up the outboard and remark with the bird. To combat this I load each unit's waypoints I marked for that day separately to the PC using a combination of GPSBabel, Humminbird PC and convert to google earth and separate by lake so that I'm not rolling out with units that have a bazillion coordinates for lakes I'm not fishing that day. When I want to go fish a lake I simply covert the saved google earth coordinates for that lake to both lowrance and bird, upload to units and go fish. Saves me from having to mark stuff twice. It can be tedious at times, maybe a little anal and probably a nightmare for most but I get by.

But then I've never had units that could share waypoints and maybe it would be the same blues especially since I'm uploading waypoints to google earth.

Thinking if I won the lottery I'd have several 15" humminbird solix's on my new boat along with a 360. Lol

Amazing technology from #Garmin. Panoptix helps me catch limits of crappie nearly every time I go. This school you see is 22ft long and 17 ft wide. I'd estimate this school having 300+ crappie. When I stop catching them, I scan my transducer and know what direction and how far away they went. You truly become unstoppable
