Cheapest unit that will run Panoptix is the 73cv. Transducer sold separately

Thanks Josh, I had looked it up on their website and found everything including prices. Anyone want to demo one of these I'd sure like to see it on the water!

That looked really cool until I saw the price..... Guess I've got too many hobbies to pay for.

Not really. I have never run an ethernet connecting my units. I also have pinpoint antenna on the back above my DS transducer and an external antenna for the front unit above my TM. Not hard at all to mark a waypoint on the back, then confirm with the front unit and mark it there too. I personally feel it marks it more accurately.

If you are running two units sharing WP it makes it a lot more accurate if you put both of your GPS pucks on the front of the boat. Other wise if my console unit puck is at the back of the boat and I mark something and them I go to the bow, the waypoint will be 20 foot off. I have a 20ft cast ring set on my front unit that also helps me know how close I am to a brush pile before I get on top of it.

That is very nice. If it truly looks like that...maybe I could catch one.
