    Default Hydrowave Crappie

Does anyone use a Hydrowave? Do they work? Here's a link to the crappie model.

If you're going to spend $$$ on that, I would buy a nice SI/DI sonar first if you don't have one.

Oh I have no plans on buying one. I just wondered if this thing is magic or something?

I have 2 Hydro waves, one older model & one newer.
    I think they work.
I usually set it on Shad Feeding Frenzy 1/2 volume, continuous play. If you watch your DI sonar you should see it pull fish up off the bottom when turned on. I think it "hides" the boat noise more than it "calls" fish. When I get on the stack of fish, with trolling motor off, I change it from Continuous to 30 second delay.

So obviously you feel this helps your fishing? I've never met anyone that owns one.
