I assume you are talking fiber guards and not wire. There are 2 different sizes for crappie jig heads depending on jig head size and there are 2 different strand size for the FG-12. You'll need the .018 size. I order my fiber guards from here:

    FG-9 Fiber Weed Guard

    FG-12 Fiber Weed Guard

You may be talking about the stick guard, which is a short pc of soft rubber material that about the size of a pencil lead that you slip over the point and barb. Unfortunately they have been discontinued and no longer available. I have been using the Timmy Toms jighead which like Travis stated is a Fiber guard......Ranger

Has anyone used the slide on weed guard? It looks like it would work after watching video. I have so much money in regular heads I really don't want to buy any more. Just trying to come up with something seedless! I guess if I can't fin stick guards I can get the utility knife out and some old plastics bass baits and make some , problem solved!

Grizzly jig sells the kind your looking for. They are in their catalog. Just call them up and tell em what you are looking for.

Bass Pro has the little rubber stick guards. They are hard to find in the store, but you can ask an employee. Name: IMG_20161021_184609836.jpg
