    Default Muscle Beds

What technique do you use to find muscle beds? I thought I would try to find some in Oologah Lake.

I found some info on the web. Looks to be a challenge but once found they don't move.

Cruise/walk the shore looking for broken mussel shells where the raccoons have located the beds for you.

Catfish love to eat them. In addition small bait fish feast on the aquatic animals and plants that grow on their shells or so I've read. The small bait fish attract game fish.

Lot's of info on the web about the muscle beds.
